Daniel Schild


Daniel Schild heads up the computation department at Vescore. He is essential in running the computational infrastructure that underpins Vescore’s quantitative investment engine. This includes the automated implementation of portfolio allocations. In this capacity, Daniel and his team are responsible for the production of Vescore's customized institutional mandates and retail funds on the quantitative platform.

Daniel joined Vescore in 2006. Until 2012 he was Head of Portfolio and Index Management of CYD Indices GmbH. In this role he led the Investment Office of the commodity investing business of Vescore which became part of Vontobel Asset Management in 2016.

Daniel holds a Master of Science in Business and Economics from the University of Basel with a major in Finance, Banking and Controlling.
